22-year-old youth found dead under mysterious conditions in Baramulla district

Srinagar, May 31: A 22-year-old youth was found dead under mysterious conditions on Sunday in north Kashmir’s Pattan village.

Reports reaching said a 22-year-old youth identified as Showkat Ahmad Hajam son of Abdul Rehman Hajam resident of Mattipora Pattan was found dead under mysterious condition at his home.

Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed this incident to this newspaper and said a case under 174 crpc has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated. The officer said after completing the post mortem and other legal formalities dead body was handed over to legal heirs under proper protocol and other Covid19 related guidelines to complete the last rites.(KD)
