Mohammad Amir Issues Statement on International Return

Former fast bowler Mohammad Amir has rubbished reports of retirement saying that he has no intention of returning to international cricket.

Reports emerged that the 29-year-old Mohammad Amir was considering making Pakistan comeback if Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja decides to quit the job after a successful no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

However, speaking to Cricket Pakistan, the left-arm pacer Amir said that he has no intention of returning to international cricket as he is busy playing various leagues these days and enjoying life by spending time with his family.

Amir has represented Pakistan in 36 Tests, 61 ODIs and 50 T20Is where he claimed 259 wickets.
