Ministry of Home Affairs Appoints Shri Vitul Kumar as Interim CRPF Chief

The Ministry of Home Affairs announced the assignment of Shri Vitul Kumar, IPS (UP:93), as the officiating Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). This decision follows the retirement of Shri Anish Dayal Singh, IPS (MA:88), on December 31, 2024.

Shri Kumar, currently serving as Special Director General of the CRPF, will hold this position until a permanent appointment is made or until further orders are issued.
