Pakistan Captain Babar Azam Had a Meeting with PM Imran Khan Ahead of India Clash- Know Here What PM Imran Khan Shared With Baber

Pakistan captain Babar Azam said on Saturday that before the start of the ICC T20 World Cup, former captain and current Prime Minister of the country, Imran Khan, had talks with the team. Imran shared his experiences of leading Pakistan to their first World Cup victory in 1992 with the team. The Pakistan captain said this in response to a question in which he was asked whether the PM had given any special message before the match against India.

Babar said on the eve of the match against arch-rivals India, “Before coming here, we had a meeting and in that he shared his experiences. He told about himself and the body language of the team along with telling about his mindset in the 1992 World Cup.

  • “This team has the talent to beat India,” Imran Khan said as quoted by Geo TV of Pakistan.
  • “Insha’Allah, Pakistan will definitely beat India tomorrow,” he added.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Rameez Raja held an online meeting with the players and advised them to give their 100 per cent in the tournament. Babar, who has played 61 international matches in the T20 format, said, ‘Look, the president told us, ‘The more you keep yourself calm and keep things simple, the better. Leave the outside things outside. Believe in yourself and contribute 100 percent.
