J&K Govt Announces Key Transfers and Postings of Senior JKAS Officers
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a reshuffle of senior officials within its administrative setup. The General Administration Department (GAD) issued Government Order No. 2075-JK(GAD) of 2024 on Tuesday, detailing the immediate transfer and posting of two senior officers.

Previously serving as Additional Secretary in the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC), Mr. Qazi has been transferred and appointed as Additional Secretary in the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB). This role places him in a crucial position to oversee recruitment processes and ensure transparency and efficiency in public service appointments. - Mr. Suhail Ahmad, JKAS
Awaiting adjustment in the General Administration Department (GAD), Mr. Suhail Ahmad has been assigned as Additional Secretary in the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission. His experience is expected to contribute significantly to the Commission’s efforts in ensuring merit-based selection processes for government services.
The reassignments are part of the administration’s ongoing efforts to ensure the right personnel are placed in key positions to address emerging governance challenges effectively.
