IPL: J&K all-rounder Abid Mushtaq called for trials by Mumbai Indians

SRINAGAR: The J&K senior cricket team all-rounder, Abid Mushtaq has been called up by Indian Premier League (IPl) Franchisee Mumbai Indians for trials ahead of the upcoming players auction.

Abid, who received a call from the franchisee, left for Mumbai on Saturday evening and is scheduled to attend the trials on Sunday.

“He was called yesterday for trials. He will leave today and participate in trials tomorrow,” report said.

Abid, is left-arm spinner and is capable of batting down the order. He has been performing constantly for J&K in all the three formats.

He received this call-up on the basis of a few decent outings in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
