Indian fast bowler issues a stern warning to Pakistan Team “Don’t come to India”- Details Here
With Babar-Azam led Pakistani team failed to impress in the nail-biting ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 match against India at Narendra Modi stadium on 14 October, losing to the home team by 7 wickets. Former Indian fast bowler Sreesanth issued a stern warning to the Pakistani team in a clear statement.
Sreesanth expressed his surprise at reports in which the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) promoted crowd hostility during the Ahmedabad match.
Rejecting the complaints, he argued that the 2011 World Cup win was a natural process for the home crowd to support the Indian team. He further said that if the Pakistani team had performed well on the field, they would also get praise.
Speaking exclusively to Sportskeeda, Sreesanth said that a professional cricket team should be ready for both situations of praise and criticism.
He said that if you perform well, the whole crowd cheers for your performance and if you don’t perform well, the whole crowd criticizes you. A good team is always ready for both these situations.
“If you can’t handle the pressure, there is no need for you to come to India. It’s as easy as to go back.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) lodged a complaint with the ICC over “inappropriate conduct” of the fans during its team’s high-profile World Cup match against India in Ahmedabad. The PCB also lodged a protest with the International Cricket Council over lack of visas issued to Pakistani journalists and fans hoping to attend the 2023 World Cup.
