Key Changes in Leadership

• Captain: Mohammad Rizwan will lead the team during the upcoming tour of Australia, which includes three ODIs and three T20Is from November 4 to November 18, 2024.
• Vice-Captain: Salman Ali Agha has been appointed as the vice-captain. He will also take charge during the T20 series in Zimbabwe, where Rizwan will not participate.

Team Composition

The squad for the Australia tour includes notable players returning to the team:

• ODI Squad: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, among others.
• T20I Squad: Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan (WK), Shaheen Shah Afridi, and several emerging talents.

However, Babar, Afridi and Naseem will be rested for the three ODIs and three T20s in Zimbabwe with the selectors picking several top performers from domestic white-ball cricket

Following a loss in the first Test against England, they bounced back to win the second and third Tests, thanks in part to the contributions of new players like spinners Sajid Khan, Noman Ali, and Mohammad Zahid. • November 4: ODI at MCG, Melbourne
• November 8: ODI at Adelaide Oval, Adelaide

• November 16: T20I at SCG, Sydney
