Jammu And Kashmir: Soldier Injured After Militants Attack Army Camp

An army trooper was injured in an exchange fire between militants and security forces in the Budhal area of the Khawas area of Rajouri in the wee hours on Monday.

Officials said that in wee hours around 3:30 am, militants, opened fire on a recently established army camp at Vill- Gunda.

The fire was retaliated by th,eresulting inresulting in a brief gunfight. During the the firefight,, one army personnel was injured, andand was immediately shifted to a a nearby hospital for advanced treatment, he said.

Meanwhile, PRO Defence Jammu said that a massive Search Operation has been launched to flush outhe army has successfully thwarted major militant attacktant attack. More details will follow. (GNS)
