Srinagar,Feb,10,CNS:- A cosco tournament organized today at Hazratbal, SP Hilal Khaliq Bhat along with SDPO Hazratbal, Ashiq Hussain SDPO Zakura and other Officers under Civic Action Programme inaugurated the COSCO T-10 Cricket Tournament, aiming to promote sports and enthusiasm.

The tournament, kicked off at Green Valley Educational Institute Ground Ellahibagh Buchpora Srinagar, featuring 08 teams from various parts of Zone Hazratbal. The event is designed to provide a platform for local youth to showcase their cricketing talent, while also promoting a sense of social responsibility.

The Civic Action Programme, initiated by District Police Srinagar, aims to engage with the local community, promote social welfare, and prevent youth from getting involved in drugs etc.

JKP believes that sports can play a vital role in shaping the lives of young people, and we are committed to supporting initiatives that promote well-being and development of youth. The tournament will run for 04 days, with the final match scheduled to take place on 13-02-2025.

SP Hazratbal conducted the proceeding of the event and advised the players to remember that cricket is a game of skill, strategy, and sportsmanship. As you take the field, remember to play with integrity, respect your opponents, and give your best effort. May this tournament be a journey of learning, growth, and self-improvement for each and every one of you.
