The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday ordered Transfer and Posting of 32 Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) and equivalent under Online Transfer Drive 2023, In the interest of administration with immediate effect.

- Sub-Para (iv) & (vii) of Para (c) of Notification No. 01-JK (Edu) of 2023, dated 26.04.2023 have been applied in the above transfer(s) / posting(s), wherever applicable.
- AJl the transferee(s) shall be deemed to have been relieved with the directions to immediately report to their new place(s) of posting(s).
- The DDO(s) concerned are directed to immediately forward the LPCs along-with Service Books of the transferee(s) to their new place(s) of posting(s) / DDo(s).
- No leave of any kind shall be granted to any official who is under orders of transfer and any officer who fails to comply with this order shall be treated as absent from duties.
- Orders once issued, must be strictly complied with. Any modification request under compelling circumstances/in exceptional cases shall be entertained by the Department only after joining at new place of posting.
- Before implementing this order, the DD0 concerned shall ensure that the incumbent(s) is/are holding genuine appointment on the substantive post in the department.
