Government Orders Transfers Postings of Police Officers

In a recent administrative decision, several transfers and postings of police officers have been ordered with immediate effect.

Here are the key details:

Sh. Gaurav Sharma, IPS (AGMUT: 2009) has been posted as DIG Leh-Kargil Range. He was previously awaiting orders of adjustment and is now assigned to the available vacant post at PHQ, UT Ladakh.

Sh. Fulzele Piyush Nirarkar, IPS (AGMUT: 2015) is now the SP Security, Ladakh. He will also take on the additional responsibilities of SP, Telecom, Ladakh, relieving Sh. Deepak Digra, JKPS (2008) of this charge.

Furthermore, he is assigned the additional role of SP, ACB Ladakh, relieving Sh. Pardeep Singh, JKPS (2008) of that position. His salary and allowances will be drawn from the available vacant post in the IPS cadre.

Sh. Deepak Digra, JKPS (2008), previously the SP Security in Ladakh, has been transferred to serve as Sr. Superintendent, District Jail, Leh. He will also hold the additional charge of Staff Officer to DG, Fire & Rescue Service, Ladakh, and Staff Officer to Commandant General, Civil Defence / Home Guards/ UTDRF Ladakh. His salary will be drawn against the post of Deputy Commandant IRP 25th Bn. In his new role, he will work under the direct supervision of the I/c Prisons, UT Ladakh.
