Gold Price Jumps To Highest In A Year As Russia Declares War | Check How Much

Gold price in India hits Rs 51,000-mark on Thursday after Russian President Vladmir Putin has declared war against Ukraine region. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures jumped 2.02 per cent to Rs 51,396 for 10 grams on February 24.

On February 24, Indian gold prices have rallied by Rs. 850 per 10 grams for 22 carat gold and rallied by Rs. 930 per 10 grams for 24 carat gold. On February 24, the 22 carat gold prices are quoted at Rs. 46,850 per 10 grams, and the 24 carat gold rates are quoted at Rs. 51,110 per 10 grams.

In the international market, Spot gold increased 1.9 per cent to $1,943.86 per ounce by 0428 GMT, its highest level since early January 2021. US gold futures climbed 2 per cent to $1,949.20.
