Eid-ul-Fitr 2025: Pakistan’s Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee to Meet for Moon Sighting

Islamabad, March 10, 2025 – The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet on Sunday, March 30, 2025, to sight the moon of Shawwal 1446 AH. The meeting will be held at the Ministry’s office in Islamabad, coinciding with the 29th day of Ramadan.

Zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will conduct their respective meetings at designated headquarters across the country on the same date. Citizens are encouraged to report any sightings of the moon by contacting the designated officials:
