DC Suspends 2 Officials After a Video Goes Viral On Social Media

Srinagar 01 May: DC Harvinder Singh ordered suspension of services of Mr. Basharat Hussain, GRS, Panchayat Jakyas (A) and Mr.Afaq Ahmed, GRS, Panchayat Chinyas.

According to an order, that on the basis of office communication received from Assistant Commissioner Development, Doda regarding the viral videos on social media against Mr. Basharat Hussain, GRS, Panchayat Jakyas (A) and Mr. Afaq Ahmed, GRS, Panchayat Chinyas of Block Jakyas; the services of the aforementioned employees are hereby placed under suspension till further orders

Moreover, Assistant Commissioner Development, Doda is hereby appointed as enquiry officer who shall submit a detailed report regarding allegations levelled against both the officials within two days.

Further, both the officials shall remain attached in the Office of Assistant Commissioner Development, Doda till the outcome of enquiry report.
