Big Statement: It’s Umran Malik’s fault that he was born in India, where talent is destroyed’

Indian bowlers were blown away by England batters in the second semi-final of the ICC T20 World Cup at the Adelaide Oval.

Alex Hales and Jos Buttler hammered brilliant unbeaten half-centuries as England crushed India by 10 wickets on Thursday. England after Chasing 169 for victory in the second semi-final in Adelaide, Hales smashed seven sixes in his 86 and Buttler, who made 80, hit three in a spellbinding batting performance won the match by 10 wickets to qualify for the finals, where they will meet Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Many former players had urged the Indian selectors and management to consider Umran Malik for the global tournament as his pace would suit the Australian pitches.

However, the youngster was ignored and India didn’t had the luxury of a fearsome fast bowler.

Brett Lee was critical of India’s approach and questioned Umran’s absence from the World Cup.

One of the leading India journalists has made a big remark on the Jammu & Kashmir bowler. Ashish Kumar Singh, who works for ABP News, said its Umran Malik’s fault that he was born in India, where talent is destroyed by those who would run away if a fast delivery is bowled to them.

Several other prominent faces took to social media to criticise the Indian team’s performance in the crucial game. Among those who slammed the Rohit Sharma-led side for their poor show in the semifinal is former India opener Virender Sehwag.
