Jio Surprises Users, Changes Validity of Rs 19 and Rs 29 Recharge Plan

This follows a previous price hike that occurred about five months ago, which had already stirred dissatisfaction among users.

Changes to the Rs 19 Plan
The Rs 19 plan, which was previously a data voucher that matched the validity of the user’s base plan, has undergone a notable reduction in its validity period. Customers will still receive 1GB of data, but the validity has been cut down to just 1 day. This means that users must utilize their data within a very short timeframe, which may not be convenient for everyone.
Updates to the Rs 29 Recharge Plan
Similarly, the Rs 29 recharge plan, also a data voucher, now offers 2GB of data but comes with a validity of only 2 days. If users do not consume the data within this period, it will expire, further emphasizing the need for timely usage. These adjustments reflect a significant shift in Jio’s approach to its data voucher offerings, prompting users to reconsider their recharge strategies and potentially seek alternatives that better suit their needs
Where to Check
Users are advised to visit the MyJio app or the official Jio website to stay updated on these changes and evaluate their recharge options accordingly.
