Watch: Bhuvneshwar Kumar breaks Shoaib Akhtar’s world record of the fastest delivery
In the first T20 match between india and Ireland. India gained a 1-0 lead in the two-game series after chasing down Ireland’s 108-4 in a rain-affected T20 International on Sunday. The game in Malahide was reduced to 12 overs per side due to a rain-delayed start.
Earlier, Indian Captain Hardik have won the toss and opted to bowl. Captain Pandya, speedster Avesh Khan and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal shared three wickets as India restricted Ireland to 108-4 in the 12-over match.
In reply, India chased down the target in just 9.2 over to defeat Ireland by 7 wickets at The Village. In this context that Bhuvi’s second ball, which seemed to be bowled at a moderate pace to the naked eye, was shown as being bowled at 201 kmph on the television screens.

Speedometer Shows Bhuvneshwar Kumar Bowls 201 kph Delivery Against Ireland in 1st T20I
In the first T20 against Ireland, the speedometer declared Bhuvneshwar Kumar as the fastest bowler. He measured the speed of his first ball at 201 kmph during the innings. After this, the second ball that Bhuvi threw was said to have a speed of 208 kmph. Cricket fans were eager to see the speed of Umran.

But the speedometer was telling them the speed of Bhubaneswar. Not only this, the record of putting the fastest ball in world cricket at a speed of 161.3 kmph is in the name of former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. But Bhuvi’s measured speed was much more than that. In what seems to be a case of a shocking speed gun error.
