Woman killed, another injured in Anantnag mishap

Anantnag, June 19 : A woman was killed while another was injured on Friday in a road accident that took place in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two ladies were hit by a speedy four wheeler Swift (HR51AL-9396) at Wallarhama, resulting in on spot death of a woman, while another person sustained injuries in the mishap.

They identified the deceased lady as Begum Jan, wife of Ghulam Hassan Shah, while the injured identified as Shaban Jan daughter of Shabir Ahmad Khan was shifted to GMC Anantnag. Both the deceased as well as injured are residents of Lehandajan.

A case in this regard has been registered under FIR number 34/2020 section 279-337 304-A IPC while as investigation has been started, police officials said –(KNO)
