Woman fainted during nocturnal raid, hospitalized

 

Kulgam, June 25: A woman was fainted during a raid conducted by Army in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

Abdul Salam whose house was raided by soldiers from 1st RR told that her daughter-in-law was fainted and later she was hospitalized where she spent the whole night.

Divulging information about the incident, he said that two weeks ago army detained a 16 year old boy from Bolus village on charges of stone-pelting and that boy gave the name of our relative Burhan Shafi.

“Though Burhan lives in another place, the army accused us of hiding him. My daughter in law fainted after soldiers entered into the house,” Abdul Salam from Sonigam Kulgam said.

He said that soldiers left back after the incident and didn’t touch anyone. (KNT)

A police official feigned ignorance about the incident saying he doesn’t know anything about it
