Today, rain showers can occur in many areas of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in Kashmir region.

The intensity overall will be higher in north Kashmir parts (particularly Kupwara) compared to other parts.

Overall intensity of the spell = light to moderate

Due to lower temperatures, light snowfall can occur over extreme higher reaches (elevation > 4000 m).

Intense showers/cloudbursts can’t be ruled out.
