Weather Update For Jammu and Kashmir, J&K District Received Heaviest Rain of 315.4mm Since 1980

𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙪𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙅&𝙆(19.7.23) @830𝘼𝙈

𝘾𝙪𝙧𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩: Raining at most places of Jammu region and Anantnag, Kulgam area.

𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙧𝙖 received all time Extremely Heavy Rain of 315.4mm in 24 hrs. This is heaviest since 1980.Earlier it was 292.4mm on 31st July 2019.

𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩:

𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮: Rain likely to continue till nxt 3-4 hrs. and decrease thereafter in Jammu & Kashmir

20-22𝙩𝙝: Intermittent Light to moderate rain/thundershower at MANY places of Jammu & at SCATTERED places of Kashmir

Heavy to Very Heavy Rain is possible at some places of Jammu region during this week

𝙒𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜:

1. Risk of Flash Flood, Mudslide, Landslides has increased due to Heavy Rain.

2. People are advised to remain cautious and stay away from Streams, Rivers and other vulnerable spots.
