Weather Forecast for Jammu & Kashmir: June 16–23, 2025
Srinagar, June 16: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a fresh weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, indicating changing weather patterns in the coming days.
According to the forecast, from June 16 to June 20, the region is likely to witness brief spells of rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds at isolated to scattered locations. This may bring some relief from the ongoing heat but could also lead to temporary disruptions in outdoor activities.
Moving forward, during June 21 to June 23, the weather is expected to remain generally cloudy, with intermittent spells of rain or thundershowers predicted at many places across the Union Territory.
Advisory for Farmers:
The Meteorological Department has issued a special advisory for farmers, stating that they may continue with their agricultural activities during this period, as weather conditions are not expected to severely hinder farm operations.
