Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) pacer Umran Malik put on a one-man show at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, single-handedly destroying the batting lineup of the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday.
Chasing 196, GT got off to a flier courtesy of Wriddhiman Saha. The experienced veteran ran away to 41 off 20 balls while Shubman Gill at the other end was playing a run-a-ball knock.
Umran was brought into the attack and he provided the breakthrough, knocking over Gill. In his very next over, he removed Hardik Pandya with a steep bouncer. The speedster was then held back for the later overs and it turned out to be a brilliant move.
The 22-year-old pacer from Jammu Kashmir was on fire on Wednesday as he took out poles for fun as SunRisers Hyderabad were defending 195 after being sent into bat.
