Trump guilty latest: Donald Trump blames Biden and his people for hush money conviction
Former US President Donald Trump delivered an address following a historic verdict that held him guilty on 34 counts in a 2016 hush money case. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee blamed ‘Biden and his people’ for criminal conviction while speaking from Trump Tower in New York City. Trump said that he will appeal the verdict at a higher court.
“This is all done by Biden and his people,” Trump said, while describing the hush money trial as “very unfair”.

Donald Trump has warned that “anyone” can be imprisoned by America’s ‘corrupt’ justice system after being convicted of falsifying business records.
Writing on his Truth Social platform, the former president said his guilty verdict was the result of a witch hunt.
“IF THIS CAN HAPPEN TO ME, IT CAN HAPPEN TO ANYONE!” he said.
Trump has maintained the charges he faced over hush money payments made to porn star Stormy Daniels were cooked up by the Biden administration to keep him from winning the upcoming election.
On Thursday he was convicted by a New York jury on all 34 charges of falsifying business records.
He will be sentenced by Judge Juan Merchan on July 11.
He is due to give a press conference on Friday morning at 11am ET (4pm GMT) at Trump Tower.
