Terrorists Escape as Forces Bust Hideout in Daichigam, Search On

Srinagar, Mar 21: Security forces busted a sophisticated underground hideout in the Pehlipora area of Dachigam forests, but the terrorists managed to escape before the raid, triggering an ongoing search operation.

Reliable sources told Kashmir Dot Com that intelligence inputs hinted at terrorist movement in the upper reaches of Pehlipora, prompting a joint operation by the Special Operations Group (SOG) Srinagar and the 50 Rashtriya Rifles (RR).

During the operation, forces uncovered a bunker-type hideout stocked with logistics. “The terrorists had already vacated the site by the time our team arrived,” sources said, adding that efforts are underway to track and apprehend them. (KDC)
