Summer Vacation In Kashmir Schools: Director School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Tasaduq Hussain on Wednesday said that there was no immediate plan of announcing summer vacations in schools across Kashmir valley as the “weather is pleasant”.

Speaking to the media during a visit to a private school in Nagbal, located in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, he emphasized that the government is monitoring the situation and that they will take call in case of any extreme weather condition.

He said that the department want to make students resilient to weather vagaries and other tough conditions so that they become stronger to face any difficult situation in future.

He said that if summer vacations are announced in the month of May, then “what we are going to do in June, July months”?
