SSB personnel shot himself dead with his service rifle in North Kashmir

Srinagar: A Sashastra Seema Bal(SSB) personnel on Sunday night shot himself dead with his service rifle in Vilgam area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Officials identified the Slain as Amit Kumar a resident of Uttar Pradesh who was posted at 37 BN SSB Vilgam shot himself dead with his service rifle on Sunday night.

The SSB guards Indian fronts with Nepal and Bhutan and some of its battalions are deployed in J-K for security duties.
