Srinagar to Jammu Vande Bharat train to pass through 18 stations – Check FULL LIST

The eagerly awaited Vande Bharat Express between Jammu and Srinagar is set to become a reality soon, marking a significant milestone in Kashmir’s rail connectivity. This will be the first Vande Bharat train for the Kashmir Valley and the third semi-high-speed train for Jammu and Kashmir. Operated by the Northern Railway (NR) zone, the train is expected to be launched by March 31, 2025, though an official confirmation is still awaited.

Train Features and Passenger Capacity

The Jammu to Srinagar Vande Bharat Express will consist of 8 coaches, including 1 Executive Class coach and 7 AC Chair Cars, accommodating up to 530 passengers. The train will provide a faster and more comfortable travel option through the challenging mountainous terrain of J&K.
