Srinagar Police seizes 02 vehicles of drug peddler in Srinagar

Srinagar, December 5: In a continued drive to eliminate drug-related activities, Srinagar Police have seized two vehicles suspected to have been purchased with proceeds from the illegal narcotics trade. The action is part of an ongoing campaign to combat the drug menace and disrupt its financial networks.

Police in Srinagar have seized two vehicles (Corolla bearing registration number DL4CNE-6086 and BMW bearing registration number JK01AF-0047) in connection with case FIR No. 36/2024 under section 8/21 NDPS Act of Police Station Chanapora from accused person namely Mudasir Ahmad Wani son of Gulam Rasool Wani resident of Stadium Colony, Chanapora.

According to a police statement the seizure of vehicles acquired by illegal means through narcotics trafficking has been made under the provisions of 68 NDPS Act.

J&K Police reiterates its commitment in eradicating the drug menace and dismantling the infrastructure supporting narcotics trafficking.
