School Edu Deptt J&K Announces New School Timings Starting from October 01
The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has issued a new order regarding school timings for both the Summer and Winter Zones of Jammu Division, effective from October 2024. Here are the key details:

- Summer Zone:
- From October 1 to October 31, 2024, schools will operate from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Starting November 1, 2024, the timings will change to 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Schools within the limits of Jammu Municipal Corporation and surrounding urban areas will continue to follow the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule.
- Winter Zone:
- Effective October 1, 2024, schools will observe timings from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The order emphasizes that any deviation from these timings will result in action against the institution as per existing rules
