RBI Assistant Recruitment 2022: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued a notification, inviting online applications for the posts of ‘Assistant’ in various offices of the bank. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the bank’s official website – www.rbi.org.in. No other mode for submission of application is acceptable.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of competitive examination in two phases, i.e., Preliminary and Main examination followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT).

Candidates can check the detailed notification on the banks’ website www.rbi.org.in. Before applying, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria for the ‘Assistant’ post.

Eligibility criteria: Age (as of 01.02.2022): Between 20 and 28 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02/02/1994 and not later than 01/02/2002 (both days including) are only eligible to apply.

Education qualification: At least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50 percent marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on a PC.

A candidate belonging to the Ex-servicemen category (except dependents of ex-servicemen) should either be a graduate from a recognised university or should have passed the matriculation or its equivalent examination of the Armed Forces and do at least 15 years of defence service.

Candidates applying for a post in a particular recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know how to read, write, speak and understand the language) of the state/any of the states falling under the recruiting office.

How to apply for RBI Recruitment 2022:

• 1. Candidates may go to the RBI website www.rbi.org.in and click on the option “Recruitment for the post of Assistant”, which will open a new screen.
• 2. To register for the application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter name, contact details and Email-id. A provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidates should note down the provisional registration number and password. An email and SMS indicating the provisional registration number and password will also be sent.
• 3. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered by choosing the “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Visually, impaired candidates should fill out the application form carefully and verify/ get the details verified to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission.
• 4. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible/ entertained after clicking the final submit button.
• 5. Validate your details and save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save and Next’ button.
• 6. Candidates can proceed to uploading a photo and signature as per the specifications given in the guidelines for scanning and uploading of photograph and signature.
• 7. Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
• 8. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled in by you are correct.
• 9. Click on the ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.
• 10. Click on ‘Submit’ button.
