Police Awantipora rescued Pregnant woman amidst heavy snowfall

Awantipora 28 December :-A commendable display of swift action, Police Awantipora along with the Medical Team of PHC Aripal rescued a pregnant woman amidst heavy snowfall.

A distress call was received from a resident of Hajin Aripal , requesting for urgent rescue and medical evacuation of his pregnant wife who was in critical condition due to heavy snowfall from last one day.

Accordingly a police party led by Incharge Police Post Aripal, quickly reached the location. Despite the difficult conditions, including treacherous roads, the rescue team evacuated the pregnant woman in the Departmental vehicle Gypsy of Police Post Aripal upto Satoora thereby the said pregnant lady was received/evacuated by medical team.

The locals, particularly the family members of the pregnant woman, expressed gratitude and admiration for the prompt response and timely assistance provided by Police during this critical situation.
