Police arrested drug peddler in Baramulla; Contraband substance recovered

December 25 : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A Police party of Police Station Baramulla headed by SHO PS Baramulla at a checkpoint established at Azadgunj Chowk Baramulla, intercepted one person who was identified as Mubashir Mohiuddin Dar son of Gh Mohiuddin resident of Azadgunj near Grid Station. During search, 200 grams of contraband Charas like substances was recovered from his possession. He has been arrested.

Accordingly, a case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Baramulla and investigation has been initiated.
