Pakistan Writes UAE 2021 Instead of INDIA 2021 on Their T20 World Cup Jersey- Babar Azam’s Picture Wearing Same Goes Viral

Notably, Pakistan’s jersey for the ICC event was revealed recently and it did not mention India in its logo even the competition is being hosted by the BCCI but out of the country. Instead, Pakistan’s kit reads “ICC Men’s T20 World Cup UAE.”

The development is a shocking one especially since the jerseys for several teams are being unveilved one after the other and it is India who have been deservingly credited as the hosts in their kits. Earlier, the Netherlands cricket team also disclosed their jersey for the T20 World Cup and the logo on their kit categorically mentioned “India” instead of UAE.
It remains to be seen if there is some official action or changes that the Pakistan Cricket Board may make in their jerseys before they begin their Super 12 camp against arch-rivals India. The two South Asian countries will play each other on October 24 at the Dubai International Stadium and the tickets for this much-anticipated clash were sold out hours after they were made live.

While Pakistan have never managed to defeat India in a World Cup fixture- 50 overs or T20- they will have memories of the ICC 2017 Champions Trophy final where they handed the Men in Blue a comprehensive victory and would be trying their best to replicate a similar result. (Agencies)
