Pakistan Playing XI vs India: Babar Azam rules Out Fakhar Zaman, Says Shan Masood Fit Ahead of India Vs Pakistan Match
MELBOURNE: In a massive blow to Pakistan, the team’s star batter Fakhar Zaman has been ruled out of the high-octane T20 World Cup clash against India, confirmed skipper Babar Azam on Saturday.
However, Providing an update on the fitness of Shan Masood, Babar have a good news. He said that Masood is fit and his reports have come out good. There is no real cause of concern when it comes to Masood’s fitness. Babar went on to use words ‘he is fit for tomorrow’s match’. That means Masood is playing. Pakistan will begin their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals India in Melbourne on Sunday.

Babar did not reveal the Pakistan playing 11 for the India match. He said that the final playing XI has not been decided and the team will take a decision once the covers come of the pitch and they are able to analyse it.

Apart from the injury update, Babar Azam said that Pak spinners Shadab Khan and Mohammad Nawaz were key factors with the bat and have impressed whenever promoted in the batting order.
