ODI World Cup 2023: India Pakistan Match Re-scheduled, Now 3 Matches On Single Day- Check Here

The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 re-schedule has just got messy. With much-awaited India vs Pakistan WC match being shifted to October 14 -one day earlier than original schedule – a cluster of matches has to be re-scheduled.

The highly anticipated 50-over World Cup match between India and Pakistan will now take place on October 14 rather than October 15. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has given its nod to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the schedule alteration.

October 14 currently includes three games on the new schedule. Aside from the match between India and Pakistan, the day game between Bangladesh and New Zealand is in Chennai, and the afternoon match between the defending champions, England, and Afghanistan is in Delhi.

The October 14 is a single day in all of World Cup 2023 schedule where 3 matches are scheduled. Most days, a single game is scheduled while on rare days, two matches are scheduled.

Pakistan World Cup schedule

  • 6 October – vs Netherlands in Hyderabad
  • 10 October – vs Sri Lanka in Hyderabad (re-scheduled)
  • 14 October – vs India in Ahmedabad (re-scheduled)
  • 20 October – vs Australia in Bengaluru
  • 23 October – vs Afghanistan in Chennai
  • 27 October – vs South Africa in Chennai
  • 31 October – vs Bangladesh in Kolkata
  • 4 November – vs New Zealand in Bengaluru (Day match)
  • 12 November – vs England in Kolkata.
