The government oil companies review the prices of LPG gas cylinders every month and fix new prices of LPG gas cylinders.

While the prices of 19 kg cylinders have been increased drastically.

20 January 2021: 14.2 kg LPG Gas Cylinder Price
According to information received from the IOCL website, the 14.2-kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder (Lpg gas Cylinder Price) in Delhi is at the earlier price of December, ie Rs 694. It costs Rs 720.50 in Kolkata, Rs 694 in Mumbai and Rs 710 in Chennai.

Let us tell you that on December 15, its prices were increased by 50 rupees, after which again the price of LPG cylinder was increased by 50 rupees in the month of December itself.

The first day in the new year, the price of 19 kg commercial gas cylinder increased drastically. In the country’s capital, Delhi, it has become expensive by Rs 17 and has increased from Rs 1332 to Rs 1349. In Kolkata, its price has increased by Rs 22.50 to Rs 1410 from 1387.50. In case Mumbai, it has become costlier by Rs 17 from Rs 1280.50 to Rs 1297.50.
Its price in Chennai has increased by Rs 16.5 and it has been increased from Rs 1446.50 to Rs 1463.50. Due to different taxes in different states, the price of gas cylinders is different in different states.
Government gives subsidy on 14.2 kg gas cylinders
Currently, the government provides subsidy on 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg for each household in a year. If customers want to take more cylinders than this, then they buy them at market price.
The price of a gas cylinder changes every month. Its prices determine factors such as average international benchmarks and changes in foreign exchange rates.
