NEET-UG 2022: Students Demanding Postponement of Exam:
The demand to postpone the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET 2022 has been trending on the microblogging site, Twitter. Students on Twitter are sharing the hashtag #PostponeNEETUG2022 asking the National Testing Agency (NTA) to delay the medical entrance test. This comes as NTA recently postponed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains 2022. Now, aspirants have stormed social media asking the testing agency to extend the exam dates further.

NEET-UG 2022: What is the demand of the students?
The NEET 2022 exam is scheduled to be held on July 17, students are demanding the exams be postponed to August. Many students on Twitter have demanded the postponement of NEET 2022 stating that the time between the NEET date announcement by NTA and the actual exam date is too less. Students are saying that they have not got enough time to prepare for NEET 2022 exams.
NTA notification highlights that the NEET UG will be conducted on July 17, 2022 in offline mode. Aspirants are hoping that union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan may postpone it to August 2022.
NEET-UG 2022 to be Conducted in 14 Foreign Centres for the First Time:
NTA recently activated the application link for NEET UG 2022. As a major development, this year the exam is being conducted in 14 foreign cities. National Testing Agency tweeted, “NEET (UG) 2022 to be held in 14 cities outside India for the first time.”
NEET-UG 2022: Will UG Exam Be Postponed?
NEET 2022 postponed or not – will only be known later. Meanwhile, medical aspirants have also argued that postponing NEET UG to august, i.e, by a month, should make them relatively more comfortable in giving the paper.
As per NTA’s notification, NEET UG will be conducted on July 17, 2022 in offline mode.
Steps to register for NEET-UG 2022

Visit the official website of NEET —- neet.nta.ac.in.

Click on ‘Proceed to apply online for NEET (UG) 2022’

Enter the credentials details (name, phone no., other details)

After adding the phone no. you will receive a six-digit OTP

Enter the OTP and submit the registration form

A provisional NEET application number will be generated which needs to be preserved till the admission process is over
-
Pay the fee online for the registration form and download the form for future reference.
The NEET-UG upper age limit this year has been removed for all candidates. Earlier, the age limit for General Category candidates was 25 years and it was 30 years for the reserved category candidates. However, a little while back, the National Medical Commission (NMC) scrapped the upper age limit for the NEET-UG entrance exam.
