NEET Counselling 2023 Registration – Direct Link
National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2023 on June 13. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to announce the NEET-(UG) 2023 counselling dates for all qualified candidates.
The eligible students have to register themselves online at mcc.nic.in to participate in the counselling. The MCC NEET counselling 2023 will have 15 per cent for All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100 per cent for deemed or central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC/AFMS and BSc Nursing programs based on NEET.
NEET 2023 exam was held on May 7 and June 6 (Manipur candidates). As many as 20.38 lakh candidates out of 20.87 lakh applicants have appeared for NEET 2023. The total number of qualifying candidates is 11,45,976.

NEET Counselling 2023: Eligibility criteria

Candidates who will qualify for the NEET will be eligible to apply for NEET 2023 counselling.

Jammu and Kashmir candidates will also be eligible to participate in All India NEET counselling.
- Those who will register for NEET 2023 counselling on the MCC website.

The AIQ counselling for Deemed Universities will be open to all NEET-qualified candidates.
NEET 2023 Counselling Process
MCC will conduct NEET-UG 2023 counselling for AIQ in four rounds, including a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round. Following the completion of Round 2, the remaining seats will be filled in a mop-up round and a stray vacancy round by the MCC. Steps to be taken include:
- Step 1: Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including payment.
- Step 2: NEET 2023 counselling choice filling and locking
- Step 3: Round 1 seat allotment and result announcement
- Step 4: Reporting to the allotted Medical/Dental College (option for free entry/exit)
- Step 5: Round 2 net vacant seats are published.
- Step 6: NEET counselling round 2 registration (not necessary for already registered candidates) and fresh choice filling for NEET counselling round 2
- Step 7: Round 2 of seat allocation (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available)
- Step 8: Reporting to medical/dental colleges/institutions in preparation for round 2 (candidates once joined the allotted seat are not allowed to vacate the seat).
Steps for NEET UG Counselling 2023 Registration
- To apply for NEET UG counselling 2023, visit the website of the Medical Counselling Committee, mcc.nic.in.
- Then click on UG Medical Counselling on the homepage.
- You will be able to see the NEET UG Counselling 2023 registration link on the screen and click on this.
- Fill the requested information and register yourself on the website of MCC.
- Login and fill the NEET UG Counselling 2023 application form.
- Then upload the documents, pay the NEET UG Counselling registration fee and submit the form.
- Then complete the Choice Locking Process of NEET counselling.
- Check your status of getting the college after the declaration of NEET UG seat allotment result 2023.
- Then visit the allotted medical college for admission with all the valid documents.
