NEET 2022 Postponement: Aspirants To Start Hunger Strike Today, Demand To Meet PM Modi – Details Here
The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2022: Over 18.72 lakh students have applied for NEET 2022. This is the highest ever registration number in recent times, a rise of 2.5 lakh students as compared to last time.
The National Entrance cum Eligibility Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2022 is scheduled to be conducted on July 17 in offline mode. As the dates of JEE Main 2022, advanced have been rescheduled, the demand for NEET 2022 postponement is also increasing.
After months of protests today thousands of NEET 2022 aspirants have now resorted to a hunger strike demanding the postponement of the NEET 2022.
NEET Aspirants have also demanded a meeting with PM Modi to highlight their concerns and issues. A large section of students is tweeting with the hashtag Chalo Modi Awas which can be translated into ‘let’s go to Modi’s residence’ and are claiming to start a march towards PM’s residence.

Demands For 40-Day Postponement
Students have been demanding a 40-day postponement in the medical entrance exam claiming that there is not enough time to prepare. Further, they also claim that NEET clashes with other entrance exams including CUET. Students have been protesting online and have launched several online campaigns and have written letters to ministers in the past months.
Amid massive demands from students to postpone NEET UG 2022, a circular was doing the rounds on the social media claiming that the NEET UG 2022 exam was postponed to September 4.
However, the fact check wing of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) clarified that NEET UG 2022 has not been postponed and will be held as per the schedule.

Meanwhile, in regards the increasing demand to postpone the NEET 2022 examination, officials have said that exam would not be postponed. Answering to the queries regarding the possibility, Education Ministry officials told TOI that NEET 2022 would be conducted, as per schedule, on July 17, 2022.

Earlier NEET UG aspirants, as well as their parents, have been demanding the postponement of the undergraduate medical entrance examination citing the ongoing CBSE board examination that will give less time for NEET preparation.
Recently, India wide parents association wrote a letter to the Prime Minister urging him to intervene in the matter and reschedule the NEET UG exam date from July 17. The letter claims that lakhs of students have raised their concerns over Twitter and have also written letters to the Education Ministry and NTA requesting the same.

NEET UG Exam City Intimation Slip Released
NEET UG 2022: The National Testing Agency has released the NEET UG 2022 exam city intimation slips for all the registered candidates. The NEET aspirants are advised to check their NEET UG 2022 city allotted to them on the official portal- neet.nta.nic.in
Here is how you can download exam city slips
- – Candidates must visit the official website of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – neet.nta.nic.in.
- – On the homepage, click on the link that reads, ‘Advance Intimation of Examination City for NEET(UG)-2022.’ (Direct link given below)
- – A new page would open where you can enter your application number and other details as asked.
- – Your NEET UG exam city slip will be displayed on your screen.
- – Download and print a copy of it for future references.
Neet 2022 Admit Card
As for NEET 2022 schedule, with no postponement on the cards, it is now expected that the exam centre intimation slip would be released this week. While no date has been shared for the admit card, based on trend followed by NEET for the on-going JEE Main exam, it is likely that the admit card would be released after July 10.
Usually, the NEET admit card is issued 15 days prior to the examination date. However, the Authority has not released any specific date for the same yet. Interested candidates can check all the important updates related to NEET UG 2022 exam Here.

How to Download NEET UG 2022 Admit Card?
- Visit the official website of the NTA NEET neet.nta.nic.in.
- On the Homepage, look for the link that reads, “NEET-UG 2022 Admit Card.”
- Enter the login credentials.
- Your NEET UG 2022 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Download the NEET UG 2022 admit card and take a printout of it for future use. Candidates must also note that the NEET admit card 2022 will not be sent by post to anyone. Therefore it is mandatory for everyone to download the hall tickets online only.
