NCDC condoles death of senior congress leader Aryadan Muhammad
The core committee of National Child Development Council (NCDC) on Monday held an important meeting and condoled the death of Senior Congress leader Aryadan Muhammed.
Mr Muhammed, who was an eight-time MLA and represented the Nilambur constituency in Kerala, was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kozhikode and died yesterday morning.
The 87-year-old veteran leader had entered politics as a member of the Congress party in 1952 and remained the part of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee till 1958 and served as the Secretary of Congress Legislative Party during the 10th KLA.
Mr Muhammed was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly in 1977, 1980, 1987, 1991, 1996, and 2001.
The core committee members of NCDC, who participated in today’s meeting were: Dr Sruthi Ganesh (NCDC Program Coordinator), Arathi I S (NCDC Evaluation Coordinator), Sudha Menon ( Evaluator), Bindu S (Evaluator), Muhammed Risvan ( NCDC Regional Office Administrator).
