People are strongly advised to stay indoors during peak heat hours, stay well-hydrated, and avoid unnecessary exposure to the sun.

However, some relief may arrive as rain and thundershowers are forecast in isolated areas starting Sunday evening. More widespread thundershowers are expected in parts of the Union Territory on Monday. — Meteorological Department, Srinagar
