MeT Centre Srinagar Predicts Fresh Snowfall Forecast For Both Plains And Higher Reaches in Jammu And Kashmir – Check Here

Snowfall Forecast For Jammu and Kashmir (29.11.21) 10am: A Western Disturbance is most likely to affect J&K during 5-7th Dec. Widespread light to Moderate snowfall/Rain in plains of Jammu and Kashmir, is expected during above period.

Some places on higher reaches (above 2000m) may receive heavy snow( 1-2feet) whereas plains likely to receive 2-3inches of snow. As of today, There’s NO forecast of Heavy Snow/Rain in plains. 

𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨: 1. Temporary disruption of traffic over passes like Zojila, Sinthan Top, Razdan Top, Mugal Road due to snow & freezing temperatures.
