Major Reshuffle in Baramulla Police: 24 Officers Transferred for Administrative Efficiency

Baramulla, 5 May 2025: In a significant administrative move, the District Police Headquarters Baramulla has issued a fresh transfer order for 24 police officers across various ranks, effective immediately. The order, issued on May 4, 2025, aims to optimize the functioning and management of police stations and posts across the district.

Several Sub-Inspectors and Assistant Sub-Inspectors have also been reassigned to different police posts and stations as In-Charges or second officers.

All officers involved are relieved from their previous duties and are expected to take charge of their new postings without delay. The transfer order underscores the administration’s ongoing efforts to strengthen law enforcement and public service delivery in the region.
