Major Police Reshuffle in Anantnag: Several Inspectors Transferred

Anantnag, May 5, 2025: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the District Police Headquarters Anantnag has ordered the transfer of six police inspectors to new postings, effective immediately. This move, detailed in Order No. 790 of 2025, aims to ensure better management and efficiency in the police force.

As per the order:

1. Inspector Abdul Rashid has been shifted from DPL Anantnag to Police Station Aishmuqam, where he will serve as the Station House Officer (SHO).
2. Inspector Nisar Ahmad has been posted as SHO at Police Station Srigufwara, moving from DPL Anantnag.
3. Inspector Peer Gulzar Ahmad will now serve as SHO at Police Station Pahalgam, transferred from DPL Anantnag.
4. Inspector Reyaz Ahmad has been moved from P/S Pahalgam to DPL Anantnag and is also attached to ASP Camp Aishmuqam for further duties.
5. Inspector Salinder Singh is transferred from P/S Srigufwara to DPL Anantnag.
6. Inspector Parvaiz Ahmad will take over as SHO at P/S Kokernag, shifted from DPL Anantnag.
