Lightning Kills Youth In Anantnag, DC announces Rs 50,000 as ex-gratia to victims kin

Anantnag, (KN): 25-year-old youth was killed when lightning struck him inside his house in Ashmuqam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.

Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr. Piyush Singla, expressed his condolence to the family and has announced a compensation of Rs Fifty Thousand for the kin of the deceased.

Earlier, it was reported that a lighting struck at the residential house of one Mohammad Shafi Wani at Thokerpora Siligam in Ashmuqam area of Anantnag. In this incident, his son Junaid Shafi Wani died on the spot.
