Kashmir: Teacher dies of cardaic arrest
Shopian Jan 15: A government school teacher died of a massive cardiac arrest at his native village in Durpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Sunday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, son of Mohammad Shaban Sofi, a resident of Durpora Zainapora, posted at Primary School Mujmarg, suffered a massive cardiac arrest at his home.
He said Sofi was immediately taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Zainapora where doctors declared him dead on arrival. He has three daughters.
The cases of cardiac arrests in Kashmir have increased in the past few days.
