JKSSB Releases Results for Constable (Photographer) Written Test
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the results and score-sheet for the written examination conducted for the post of Constable (Photographer) in the Home Department. The exam was held on 22nd December 2024, as per Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024, under item no. 04.
The provisional answer key for the exam was released on the same day, 22nd December 2024, and the revised/final answer key was issued on 20th January 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their scores in the notified result.
Additional Marks for NCC Certificate Holders
In accordance with S.O. 290 of 2021, candidates possessing National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates are eligible for additional marks:
- 5% of maximum marks for NCC “C” certificate holders.
- 3% of maximum marks for NCC “B” certificate holders.
- 2% of maximum marks for NCC “A” certificate holders.
These additional marks have been factored into the final scores of eligible candidates.
Next Steps in the Selection Process
The JKSSB clarified that inclusion in the result/score-sheet does not guarantee shortlisting for further stages of selection. Candidates must meet all other eligibility criteria as specified. The next stage involves a Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET), for which the schedule will be announced separately.
