Candidates must submit their applications exclusively through JKSSB’s official website www.jkssb.nic.in. No other mode of application will be entertained. Registration on the portal is mandatory, requiring a valid email ID and mobile number for OTP-based verification. If verification issues arise, candidates can resend the code.

Applicants are advised to use only the username generated during the registration process and not their email IDs for logging in. After registration, candidates must complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) form, click on the “Active Advertisement” tab, and then select the “Apply” tab to submit the application.

Candidates must carefully fill all details accurately before final submission. A recent passport-sized photograph and a scanned signature must be uploaded as per the given size and format guidelines. If applicable, a valid category certificate (maximum size 100 KB) must also be uploaded.

Importantly, once submitted, the application form cannot be edited. Therefore, candidates must double-check all entries to avoid errors that could affect their eligibility.

Application fees must be paid online via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI. In case of payment issues, candidates should promptly contact their banks before the deadline. No application will be considered without the successful payment of the fee.

It is important to note that no hard copies are needed during the application stage; they will only be required during the Document Verification (DV) stage for shortlisted candidates.

Candidates are encouraged to submit their applications well before the closing date to avoid any last-minute technical problems due to heavy traffic on the website. They must also ensure that account details like Account Number, IFSC code, and Bank Name are correctly filled in the forms.

For any queries, candidates can contact JKSSB via the provided official email (jecivil2025@gmail.com) or reach out to the helpline numbers listed for Jammu, Srinagar, and NIC support.

The instructions were issued under the signature of Atul Kumar (JKAS), Secretary of JKSSB, and are dated 28th April 2025.
